Widowhood Resource Partner Kit
For estate and probate attorneys, hospice and grief professionals, funeral home aftercare, CPAs, and community partners
Something calm you can hand her
When a woman loses her husband, the financial questions arrive long before she is ready for them. You are often the person in the room when they do.
Solid Ground Reserve is a free, plain-spoken place for her to understand what she has, organize what feels unclear, and work out what to ask next. It is built to sit alongside the legal, tax, and grief support you already provide, not to replace any part of it. There is nothing for her to buy and nothing for you to sign.
Before anything else
How this is funded
The site is free to every woman who uses it, permanently. If a woman asks to be introduced to a precious metals specialist, and only if she asks, I make that introduction. If she later chooses to do business with that dealer, I may be compensated by the dealer. She is never charged, and nothing she saves is shared with anyone unless she requests it herself.
I am telling you this in the first thirty seconds because you are protecting someone who is not at her strongest, and you should get to decide with the whole picture in front of you. The same disclosure is published on the About page and in the footer of every page on this site.
Who you would be referring her to
Rebecca Rickett
Solid Ground Reserve, LLC is an independent financial education publisher based in Los Angeles, California. It is not a registered investment advisor, a broker-dealer, a law firm, or an accounting firm, and every page on the site says so.
I write the guides myself. There are sixty-one of them, along with published editorial standards and a corrections policy. If something on the site is wrong, unclear, or reads as though it is talking down to her, I fix it in the article and say that I did.
What she gets
A private place to start, at her own pace
- A fillable workbook. Her Financial First Steps After Losing a Spouse. She gathers the people, documents, accounts, and questions without being asked to solve anything at once.
- Plain language for unfamiliar terms. No jargon, no assumed knowledge, no quiz at the end.
- Her own Living Book. One private place to keep questions, assets, people, and next steps as her understanding grows.
- Guided questions, not advice. What needs attention first. What can wait. What do I have. Who can help me.
Asking a question here does not commit her to anything, and nothing she writes down leaves her account.
What you get
Something real, not a logo swap
For your waiting room or aftercare packet, at no cost to you. Print-ready files if you would rather run them yourself.
So she lands somewhere that acknowledges who sent her, and so you can see that it was used.
Eight pages. Read it before you decide anything.
Direct contact with me. No account to create, no agreement to sign, no exclusivity.

What I am asking
Read it, then tell me either way
If this is something you would be comfortable handing to a widow in your care, say so and I will send materials. If it is not, tell me what is missing. Both answers are useful to me, and neither one obligates you.

Solid Ground Reserve provides general educational information and does not replace a woman’s attorney, CPA, fiduciary, financial professional, insurance professional, grief professional, or other qualified adviser. She chooses whether and when to request a conversation. Solid Ground Reserve may be compensated only if she later requests an introduction and a transaction occurs. The educational resource remains free and available whether or not she does.
