Terms of Use
Last updated September 16, 2026.
Solid Ground Reserve is an educational website. These terms explain what the site is, what it is not, and the agreement between you and us when you use it. Please read them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “Solid Ground Reserve” mean Solid Ground Reserve, LLC. “You” means the person using the site.
1. What this site is
Solid Ground Reserve publishes general financial education for women navigating widowhood, divorce, inheritance, retirement, a major sale, and the ordinary work of managing wealth. Everything here is written to help you understand a subject well enough to ask better questions of qualified professionals.
The site is free to use. We do not charge readers for access to the education, the Living Book, or the PDF it produces.
2. What this site is not
This is the most important section on the page.
- Solid Ground Reserve is not a registered investment adviser, a broker-dealer, a bank, a law firm, or an accounting firm.
- Nothing on this site is individualized investment, legal, tax, insurance, or accounting advice. It is general education, written without knowledge of your particular circumstances.
- We are not a fiduciary to you. We do not manage your money, hold your assets, or have any authority over your accounts.
- No content here is an offer to buy or sell any security, commodity, or precious metal, or a recommendation that you do so.
- Using this site does not create an adviser relationship, an attorney-client relationship, or any other professional relationship between you and us.
Before acting on anything you read here, confirm it with a licensed professional who knows your full situation. Tax law, retirement account rules, benefit deadlines, and state law change, and they apply differently to different people.
3. How we are compensated
You are entitled to see the incentive behind this site.
If you request an introduction to a precious-metals specialist, and only if you request it, we may connect you with one. If you go on to do business with that dealer, we may receive compensation from the dealer. You never pay us.
We are not employed by any dealer, we do not hold or sell precious metals ourselves, and we are not paid for producing the education on this site. No introduction is ever made without a separate, explicit request from you.
Any professional we introduce you to is an independent third party. We do not control their conduct, their pricing, their products, or their advice, and we are not responsible for them. Evaluate anyone you are introduced to as you would evaluate anyone else, and read every document before you sign it.
4. Your Living Book and your account
If you create an account and use the Living Book, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything done under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.
What you write in your Living Book is yours. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with any third party unless you ask us to. Sharing is a separate permission step that you control, described in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not enter account numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other credentials into the Living Book. You do not need them there, and we do not want them.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you would be upset to lose. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the site, and while we take reasonable care, we cannot guarantee that content stored on the site will always be available or recoverable.
We may suspend or close an account that is used to break these terms, to harm other users, or to attack or misuse the site.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site to do any of the following:
- Break the law, or help anyone else break the law.
- Impersonate another person, or misrepresent who you are.
- Attempt to gain access to any account, system, or data that is not yours.
- Interfere with the operation of the site, including by introducing malicious code or overwhelming it with automated requests.
- Scrape, harvest, or systematically copy content from the site for republication or for training commercial systems, without our written permission.
- Use the site to solicit our readers.
6. Our content
The writing, design, code, graphics, and structure of this site are owned by Solid Ground Reserve, LLC and are protected by copyright and other laws.
You may read, print, and share our articles for your own personal, non-commercial use, and you may quote a reasonable portion with credit and a link back to the original page. You may not republish an article in full, sell it, or present it as your own.
7. Links to other sites
We link to government agencies, regulators, and other outside sources because they are often the correct place to verify something. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
8. Accuracy and changes
We work hard to be accurate, and our Editorial Standards describe how we research and review what we publish. Even so, the site is provided for general information, rules change, and errors are possible. If you find something wrong, please tell us at hello@solidgroundreserve.com and we will correct it.
We may update, revise, or remove content at any time, and we may change these terms. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site and everything on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solid Ground Reserve, LLC and its owners, officers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, savings, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the site, your use of the Living Book, or any decision you make based on anything you read here.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the site will not exceed one hundred dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solid Ground Reserve, LLC and its owners, officers, and contractors from any claim, loss, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of another person.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.
13. Other terms
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the site.
14. How to reach us
